About the Journal

AJARCDE (Asian Journal of Applied Research for Community Development and Empowerment) publishes papers on innovative applications, development of new technologies, and efficient solutions in agriculture, engineering, computing, social sciences, information technology, food, energy, and scientific research to improve knowledge and practice in the field of purposeful community change. The journal covers a wide range of topics including rural and community development, geography and regional planning, rural cooperatives, community health, capacity building, social work, community empowerment, sustainable development, human resource development, social capital, economics, urban studies, student community service activities, and other relevant subjects.

Publication Frequency: AJARCDE is published triannually, with three issues per year in April, August, and December.

Commitment to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): AJARCDE encourages authors to explicitly state in their abstracts how their research contributes to one or more of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). By doing so, the journal aims to strengthen the visibility of academic contributions to global sustainability, community empowerment, and inclusive development.

This chart shows a steady rise in annual Scopus citations to AJARCDE publications from 2020 to 2025. Over the past six years, citations of AJARCDE articles in Scopus have steadily increased, reflecting the journal’s growing visibility, relevance, and impact in the global academic community.

Citations to AJARCDE grew sharply after 2023, rising from 22 to 57 in 2024 and reaching 102 in 2025 (as of January 14). This marks the journal’s highest annual count and confirms its steadily increasing global scholarly impact.
